‘变质装饰品：重新思考颗粒化’是比利时艺术家的个展 david 韦克 在 苏菲·拉沙特画廊. on display are 40 sculptural objects in which 韦克 has reinvented the ancient technique of granulation.

韦克’s work brings the historical decorative technique, typically used for surface embellishment in the past, into a contemporary 艺术istic context. in granulation, sometimes tens of thousands of small metallic spheres or granules are connected to a metal surface. it is considered one of the hardest and most impressive skills in the history of goldsmithing 艺术, in which case 韦克 has now in a sense mastered after five years of research.
