R&Sie(n)‘s apparatus simultaneously intrigues, attracts and repulses 的spectator. 弗朗索瓦·罗什‘s and stéphanie lavaux’今年的安装’s威尼斯建筑双年展 is a fragment of 的design of ‘永无止境的建筑’,结构为12 x 2米,可承载50个单位‘afterglowing glass’。这是一个旨在分析人类的光的研究实验室’ physiological (and ocular) adaptation to 的dark and reveals 的solar activity and its degree of dangerousness as well as 的evolution of 的ozone concentration in 的stratosphere.

的arsenal installation is both a prototype and a ‘内阁的好奇心‘ for an 建筑 which becomes a marker of 的mind and environmental mutations. it 艺术iculates 的dangerousness of 的nature and 的post-effect of human scientific development (ozone weakness which increases 的UV intensity on 的earth surface). this lab is aimed at 的moon when it’s above 的horizon, to take advantage of 的one-lux minimum moonlight and even amplify it.

at night, this lab restores 的light intensity of daytime by discharging UV sensor units located on all 的exterior surfaces. thus, their phosphorescent components –同位素(铀)氧化物颜料-散布在其所有外表面上,根据其强度和特定性质的变化报告太阳活动,危险程度(紫外线) – A,B,C).

的‘chandeliers’ populating 的surface of 的‘building’ lets out an afterglow as a signal of 的mutation of our environment. their phosphorescence components (isobiot®opic oxide pigment) are working as UV sensors to indicate, by night, 的intensity of UV rays which affected 的zone by day, including people and all species. this way, they reveal 的solar activity and its degree of dangerousness和平流层中臭氧浓度的演变。

a natural stone is on 的middle of 的installation, a radioactive natural element at 的level of 0.88 micro sievert / hour. in ‘永无止境的建筑’, 的french team uses a geiger counter to harness it. 的natural radioactivity of venice is 0.16 microSV (in 的installation 的alpha rays do not travel more than 15 centimeters and are filtered by human skin barrier).
